His best selling book, The Offshore Nation, was published by McGraw Hill in 2006, and soon became the key globalization guide for executives. He is currently finshing up his next book, The 7 Secrets of Great Globalizers.
Atul founded NeoGroup in 2007 to optimize, monitor and report on governance of major programs, regulations and compliance activities. Leveraging a global staffing model has enabled NeoGroup to expand rapidly and provide extraordinary results for its clients.
Atul co-founded neoIT in 1999 and under his leadership, neoIT established itself as a premier management consulting firm, helping leading organizations develop and implement services globalization strategies in order to optimize operational productivity and fuel expansion and growth. Atul remains its Chairman.
Prior to neoIT, Atul was Senior Vice President, International at Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) where he led the international operations of the Fortune 25 Company in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, UK, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico and Japan. He began his career in healthcare with Rural/Metro in Phoenix, Arizona.
Atul serves on the Boards of several highly influential organizations including The Center for Services Leadership at Arizona State University, Defense Business Board (U.S.A.) and The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). He is also a Charter Member of TiE, Silicon Valley, a global non-profit network of entrepreneurs, and chair of its Cross Border CxO Forum. He is also a member and on the board of the YPO Norcal chapter.
Consulting Magazine named Atul as one of the “Top 6 IT Powerbrokers” (2005) and as one of the “Top 25 Most Influential Consultants” (2006). HRO Today named Atul as an HR Outsourcing Superstar in 2005, 2006 and 2007. FAO Today also recognized him in 2006 and 2007. Arizona State University has honored him as a “Distinguished Alumni”.
